You can delete your account yourself, in a few taps, and it takes effect immediately. If you've already uninstalled the app, you can ask us to do it for you.
Profile → Settings → Delete account
You'll be shown exactly what's deleted and what's kept, and asked to type DELETE to confirm. It happens straight away and can't be undone.
Email matchsetgo@gmail.com from the email address on your account, and say you'd like your account deleted. Using your account's email address is how we confirm it's really you — we won't delete an account on the word of someone who can't demonstrate they own it.
We'll confirm once it's done. Please allow a few days; if you don't hear back within a week, email again — it means we didn't get it.
You're welcome to reinstall and use the in-app option instead, which is immediate.
Your photo file is deleted from our server, not just unlinked from your profile.
Some things aren't only yours to erase. We keep the minimum, and it no longer identifies you once your personal details are gone:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Messages you sent | A conversation belongs to both people. Erasing your half would destroy the other person's record of a conversation they were part of. Your messages stay, shown as "Deleted user". |
| Invitations you posted that someone accepted | So the person who accepted keeps their plans and their chat. They stop appearing in Discover — nobody new can find them. |
| Safety reports involving your account | So deleting an account can't be used to escape a report. |
No. Deletion is permanent — there's no grace period and no undo. You're welcome to sign up again, but it will be a new account: your old invitations, friends, and chats won't come back, and your previous username may not be available.
